Add it to Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http liftpad https://api.liftpad.app/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer $LIFTPAD_TOKEN"
Use a deploy token to let the agent change sites, or a read token to let it look only. Then ask, for example: "List my Liftpad sites" or "Fix the broken links on my-site and show me the preview".
Tools
| Tool | Token | What it does |
|---|---|---|
list_sites | read | Sites the token can see, with live address and health. |
get_site | read | One site: live deploy, address, domains. |
create_site | deploy | Create an empty site. |
list_files | deploy | Files of the live deploy (or a given one). |
read_file | deploy | Read one text file, up to 1 MB. |
deploy_changes | deploy | Write or delete files on top of the live deploy; only changes upload; returns a preview and launch checks. |
launch_checks | read | The launch check report of a deploy. |
list_deploys | read | Deploys, newest first, with preview links and scores. |
publish | deploy | Make a deploy live, or roll back. |
form_submissions | read | Forms and their latest submissions. |
site_analytics | read | Visits of the live site. |
search_domains | read | Is a domain free, and its price in CAD. |
connect_domain | deploy | Connect a domain the owner already has; returns the DNS records. |
site_agents_report | read | The site agents' latest report: a score per agent (SEO, accessibility, performance, security, content, uptime) and each finding; refresh runs them again (needs a deploy token). |
The agent never sees more than the token: it cannot spend credits, buy domains, change members or billing, or read notifications.
Other agents
Endpoint https://api.liftpad.app/mcp: streamable HTTP, stateless JSON-RPC 2.0, API tokens only (never a cookie). Any MCP client works the same way:
curl -sS https://api.liftpad.app/mcp -H "Authorization: Bearer $LIFTPAD_TOKEN" -H "content-type: application/json" \
-d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/list"}'
