Never allowed
- Phishing: pages that imitate a bank, government, delivery company, marketplace or any other organization to collect passwords, card numbers, codes or personal information.
- Scams and fraud: fake shops, fake investment or crypto schemes, fake prizes, fake support lines, fake invoices or documents.
- Malware, unwanted software, crypto miners, or links that trick visitors into downloading them.
- Content that sexualizes minors, promotes terrorism or violent extremism, or threatens or harasses people.
- Selling illegal goods or services, or content that breaks the law where it is published.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights. We follow Canada's notice and notice rules and act on valid complaints.
- Spam: sending unsolicited messages that advertise a Liftpad site, or using forms to relay spam.
- Abusing the network: attacks, scanning, proxies for hidden traffic, file storage unrelated to a website, or getting around plan limits with many accounts.
How we enforce it
- Deploys on the Free plan and on trials are scanned before they go live. A deploy that looks like a scam is held for a person to review.
- Anyone can report a site at https://liftpad.app/report/. A person reads every report.
- Depending on how serious it is, we may hold a deploy, take a site offline, suspend an account, keep evidence and inform the authorities. Paid amounts are not refunded when an account is closed for fraud or abuse.
- If we made a mistake, write to us and we look again quickly.
