Publish a website made with Claude

Claude can write your website. Liftpad puts it online: Claude deploys through our MCP server, you check a private preview, and it goes live when you say so.

1. Make an account and a token

Create a free account on app.liftpad.app. Click your name, then API tokens, and create a deploy token (a read token can only look). Keep it secret: anyone with it can deploy to your sites.

2. Connect Claude Code

Run this once in a terminal, with your token:

claude mcp add --transport http liftpad https://api.liftpad.app/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN"

3. Ask Claude to deploy

Ask, for example: "Create a Liftpad site called my-bakery and deploy this folder." Claude uses create_site, then deploy_changes, which uploads only the files that changed and answers with a preview address and the launch checks (broken links, titles, phone layout). Nothing is live yet.

4. Check the preview, then publish

Open the preview link. When it looks right, ask Claude to publish it (the publish tool), or click Publish in the dashboard. Going back to an earlier version works the same way.

5. Add your domain

On the Business plan, buy a domain in the dashboard or connect one you own: Claude can call connect_domain and gives you the DNS records to add. The Free plan stays on yourname.liftpad.ca.

Made the site in a Claude chat instead?

If Claude gave you files (an HTML page or a folder), upload the folder in the dashboard (Deploy a new version) or with the Liftpad command-line tool. A deploy token works the same way in GitHub Actions.
